To install the rear window on a 1989 Toyota truck, first ensure you have the correct replacement window and any necessary seals or adhesives. Begin by cleaning the frame of the truck thoroughly to remove any debris or old adhesive. Apply a bead of adhesive around the window opening, then carefully position the window in place, pressing it firmly to create a seal. Finally, secure the window with any trim pieces or clips as needed, and allow the adhesive to cure according to the manufacturer's instructions.

I have replaced my drivers rear slider window on two occations. you need to first find a window from a wrecking yard and then there are screws and bolts around the frame. Take these out and then gently pry around the frame where you will find some black soft tar-like stuff that weatherproofs the window. Keep prying gently. Be careful or you will break the new window. eventually the window will come away from the frame. You will need to purchase the black weatherstriping gook that comes as a roll. Clean the new window if it is used of all the old sealant with a razor blade or chisel gently. and put a caulking bead around the frame before installing it in the new frame. That is the best I can tell you.
