The second step is to search for a replacement. You should be able to easily find a replacement online usually from the manufacturer’s website. Make sure to use the model number and measurements you recorded when you perform this search.
Once your replacement has arrived, you need to locate the screws holding the old seal in place. Once you find the screws, unscrew them, but don’t unscrew them all the way. After they are partially unscrewed, the old seal should easily slide out of the door.

Begin at one end and pinch the seal with your fingers and pull up. Use a razor to cut the seal away from the frame for glued applications, unscrew the fasteners for screw anchors or pull up on the seal with pliers where it clips into existing drilled holes in the door frame.
