The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation focuses on raising funds to research a cure, treatment and prevent measures for type 1 (juvenile) diabetes and its related complications. The JDRF is the largest charitable supporter of T1D research worldwide.
JDRF's research mission is to discover, develop and deliver advances that cure, better treat and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D). As the global leader in the fight against T1D, JDRF's research programs are comprehensive -- addressing the hopes and dreams of every person with T1D for the best quality of life and a cure for this disease.
The Metro Saint Louis and Greater Missouri Chapter has been supporting the JDRF mission since 1970 through events such as the annual Garden of Hope Dream Gala, which Announce Media is a sponsor. Other annual events are a Walk and Run to Cure Diabetes, Golf Tournament, T1D Symposium, camps and much more.
