Madinah, or Medina, is a city located in Saudi Arabia. This city is very well known for being one of the holiest places for the Islam Religion. This city is well known for the beautiful plains and mountains that stretch for as far as the eye can see outside of its town proper, and also for the marvelous religious structures that can be found within.
One of the most popular and revered places in Madinah is the Temple of the Prophet. This remarkable temple is estimated to have been built around 800 A.D, and rebuilt during the 1400’s. A key fact about this city is that only Muslims can enter the city itself, but there are many areas outside of the city proper that non-Muslims have the ability to enter. Mount Uhud is another beautiful marvel of nature that calls the city its home.
Whether a person is visiting for the spiritual part of themselves, or for the beauty of the city, Madinah offers sites that can only be found in Saudi Arabia. It contains some of the most lovely landscapes a person can hope for.
