Ingredients
Grate the cheese and allow it to come to room temperature (or grate it at room temperature). Mix (by hand, or with a fork or spoon) with the Bisquick powder and the sausage meat (crumbled). Form into bite-sized balls, around 3/4 in diameter. Cook on foil or a baking pan at 325 F for about 20 minutes. I think I was also told that these store very well, but I'm not positive about that.
My recipe for sausage balls calls for 2 cups of cheese (cheddar), 2 cups of Bisquick, and a pound of sausage.
Ingredients1 lb Bulk Sausage (Hot Or Mild)2 c Sharp Chedder Cheese Grated3 c BisquickCombine all ingredients and shape into balls the size of walnuts. Bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees F. for 15 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen. Sausage Balls may be frozen before or after baking. If frozen after, defrost and reheat at 350 degrees F.
Oh, dude, 2 ounces of sausage is like, around 2 tablespoons worth. So, imagine two golf balls or a small egg, that's pretty much it. But hey, who's really measuring sausage anyway? Just throw it in the pan and enjoy!
