It has been reported by historians that Nero often took pleasure in torturing Christians and other people he considered to be enemies. And to add to "physical abuse" having his own mother killed is abuse to the maximum.
The emperors Nero and Caligula were both known for their extravagance. Caligula is said to have been mad and is noted for his wild parties and his abuse of authority. Nero, in addition to being a big spender, is remembered for killing his mother and his prosecution of the Christians.
The son of Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero is Carlo Gabriel Nero. Born in 1969, he is a writer and director, known for his work in film and television. Carlo has also been involved in various artistic projects, often reflecting the talents of his renowned parents.
The only difference between physical and emotional abuse is that the physical abuse can usually be seen and the emotional abuse is scarring your mind. Physical abuse is bruising, pushing, slapping, breaking bones, etc. Emotional abuse is when someone always says your fat, ugly, useless, stupid, etc. These are usually both happening as a pattern of abuse. Though widely thought of as happening to just women, there have been a lot of men who have suffered under women who abuse also. Either way, they are both abusive behaviors and have painful repercussions to the individual being abused.
it has been hinted that Vergil is Nero's father however nothing official has been said yet
There have been to many to count! many go unreported! like when i beat my children!
It is estimated that thousands of people die each year due to physical abuse in various forms, such as domestic violence, child abuse, and elder abuse. The exact number can vary depending on factors like reporting accuracy and access to support services.
-In 2006, 1 in every 58 children had been physically abused in America -About 4 to 6 million cases of physical abuse are estimated to occur in intimate relationships each year in America seek help.
I would say that any kind of bruise or mark that can not be explained as to how the person got it, could be an indicator of abuse. Or they have an explanation but it doesn't sound right.
Physical abuse, as a social issue, has likely existed for as long as human societies have existed, as it can be traced back to various historical records and accounts throughout human history. It is difficult to pinpoint an exact year or time when physical abuse began, as it is rooted in complex social, cultural, and psychological factors. Various forms of physical violence can be seen in ancient civilizations, indicating that it has been a persistent issue across different eras.
Well of course, verbal abuse always results in stress and stress causes many physical problems, heart attacks even. Also, NO ONE deserves any sort of abuse and having been in both types of realationships I would honestly say it is harder to deal, long term at least, with verbal (mental abuse) than physical because it starts to stick in your head even if you don't believe it, it has a way of leaving you with so many insecurities later. And anyone who can do that to someone they say they care for either doesn't have true feelings for that person or has alot of their own issues they should deal with before getting emotionally involved with anyone (at least in my opinion).
Abuse definitely has a strong effect on the victim. The pain that the individual receives from the abuser, whether physical or mental, has a negative influence on the way the victim lives his or her life. With physical abuse, the physical abilities of the victim may be impaired for a temporary or permanent time span. With mental abuse, the victim may suffer from depression because of the abuse he or she has been forced to deal with. Also, the victim may have low self esteem because the individual believes that he or she is being abused because of his or her worthlessness.
Yes it is. Men shouldn't get physical with a girl like that.
