With these programs, the user is able to view all the networks in the area. Often times, it is possible to see the different types of encryption on the network. The encryption are put in place to prevent criminals from stealing important data. Once the user has selected the network, a password may need to be put in. With correct password input, the user is now connected to the network and router. Surfing the web, viewing email, or other online activities are made possible now. The user now has all the perks of a wired network without the ugly cords to get in the way.
