check the Transmission Fluid,if that's okay it's probably the sensors located on the transmission,they are relatively cheap to replace.take it to a transmission shop and they will do a scan to tell you what the problem is.that's what i did and it's free.they will tell you what the problem is in about 5 to 10 minutes.it sounds like a sensor to me but get a scan done just to be sure.if it is the sensor this can be bought and replaced at a very minimal cost.it's cheaper than rebuilding a tranny or replacing it if that's all the problem is.the price of the part is about1 tenth of the cost that the other work would cost.don't be fooled get the scan done and your problem will be solved.
