I just had my 96 Passport in the shop for the same problem (all the power windows quit working). They replaced the power window relay. Labor $98.50, Part $30.00 go figure. I think the relay is located behind the drivers kick panel. Good luck.

If you are getting power to 2nd motor probably defective and needs replacing

Moved the computer and now no display works. I tried repair and getting into safe mode on Xp with no luck it goes straight to windows Xp.
sometimes the window switches are bad and burnt and then finally the motor but first check the power at the switches.
Check fuse Check to see if you are getting power and ground to switch Check to see if you are getting power to motors - if so bad motor

Check for a blown fuse. have checked fuses with meter under driver side dash and under hood on 2004 explorer
If the heater core is ok, check to insure your ac unit is working. The ac works in conjunction with the heat when running defrost, and without the ac air windows will fog up .
