Haynes manual for 2000 Windstar 3.8 liter V6 says the engine mounts must be unbolted and the engine raised three inches with a hoist. or you can remove one of the top studs on the side towards the front of the car its screws out, not easy. get the other backside of the water pump clear of the studs, you should be able to get the back side of the pump clear and it will swing up, and pull it out. being that you took a stud out on the front there are only two you should be able to maneuver it out. you can get it out that way but i must say its a little tricky.

Unless the frame/fork already have the mounting tabs, it won't be possible without a lot of effort. You'd need to have the tabs welded in place, then get some new wheels built, and hope that there's enough clearance to fit the rotors.
I am seeking a higher level of security clearance. That low-rider doesn't have sufficient suspension clearance for the speed bumps in this neighborhood. I have the custodian's clearance to pull weeds in this area. That bridge has a sign on it that says "low clearance".
It's under the hood by the passenger side. The filter mounting is attached to the firewall. The view is obstructed by the vacuum control box. You must remove the control box and a couple more things to give you enough clearance for the tools you need. Very simple to do.
I just ran in to the same problem with my 99 windstar, what i did was i used a deep scocket on the striped bolt, after removing all of the outher bolts lightly pryed up on the oppicet end of the upper plentium and it allowed enough pressure to hold the spinning gromet to break loose,.the deep scocket also helped for levrage, hope it works for you as well as it did for me.
you need to get a deep socket to get to the small bolt closest to the engine, there are only two bolts that hold on the starters on a 3.0, one is long one is short.
