your engine fan is not pulling airflow over your condenser at idle or their may be a condenser fan not working check for airflow issue at idle that is the cause of your problem make sure condenser and radiator clean. Many auto cooling/heating systems use a "blend door" which mixes both hot and cold air to provide air at the temperature selected with the temperature control. When the temp control is in the full cold position, the blend door moves to a position which allows only cold air to pass into the cabin/passenger compartment. That blend door is generally operated with engine primary [unmodified intake manifold pressure] vacuum. IF there is a leak in the primary vacuum line system, then at low engine RPM the leak may bleed off the vacuum necessary to hold the door in the cooling position. Then when driving, the vacuum will be much higher, "over riding" the leak, and allow the vacuum motor, which operates the blend door, to hold the door in the proper position and provide only cold air to the cabin/passenger compartment.
I have a water leak in my 2004 Pontiac Montana between the drivers door and theseat,I was told it is the rubber gasket-that's in the floor, where the water drains, outside the Van,is this going to be a big job to repair???
Exhaust are longer than intake. Exhaust goes thru the loop in the gasket, intakes set outside gasket.
In a Pontiac Montana van, the condenser drain is typically located near the bottom of the evaporator case, often on the passenger side. It is designed to allow condensation from the air conditioning system to drain outside the vehicle. If you're having trouble locating it, you may need to check the owner's manual or consult a repair guide for specific diagrams. Always ensure that the drain is clear to prevent water buildup inside the vehicle.

Montana is a great place if you like outside sports and hunting.
yes outside
Yes, air conditioning units pull in air from outside, cool it, and then circulate it to cool the indoor space.
Outside Explorer - 2013 Montana Alpine Guides was released on: USA: 5 December 2013
The air comes from the air outside and the air conditioning system in the car turns this into cold or warm air.
It becomes humid
How do you replace the panels on the outside of a 1995 pontiac Grand am?
You should clean the AC coils outside at least once a year to ensure your air conditioning unit works efficiently.
