the wiring on top of the steering column is real tight.when you move the tilt to a lower position it pull the left turn signal wire out of the connector on top of the column.just remove the three screws that hold on the cover around the column,then take a look at the blue striped wire as you move the tilt it will be coming disconnected as you move the tilt.just pull the wire out about 1/4 of an inch in order to give it a little more slack then reconnect it and apply a little sealant around the connector where that wire goes in.problem solved.
