sounds like GEM mod. is bad
the Yukon has a dome overide switch located next to the headlight switch it has a little light bulb drawing on it that controls if the interior light works or not radio stays on for 5-10 minutes after car is shut off by design unlss door is opened. if radio still stays on when door is opened and lights still don't work after the dome overide is reset ten your problem involves the door switch itself= the swithc that recognizes when the door is open or losed
owners manual fuse box interior lamps pull it then figure it out no sense in a dead battery
Have the SRS repaired, and wear your seatbelt.
my 2008 Chevy Colorado radio stays on when you take the key out ,but turns off automatically when you open the door Yes it should stay on until someone opens a vehicle door
On a 1999 Ford Expedition : If you mean the " CK SUSP " light ( located on the right side of your gauge cluster ) ( if the light stays on then a problem has been detected with the AIR SUSPENSION )
Take the light out. You might have a bad switch in the door frame. When the door closes- it pushes a switch which I believe opens a circuit and shuts off your light. If the switch is bad it wont open the circuit and the light stays on.
dome light stays on ford taurus
Disconnecting the battery for at least fifteen minutes may turn the clock light off. Pulling the fuses in the radio consoleÊis another fix to try for a clock light that stays on in a 96 Corsica.
The transmission may be damaged. My wife and I had an Explorer and it did the exact same thing, and shortly after the transmission went out. Have it checked out at a reputable shop or dealer.
A problem has been detected with the Anti-lock Brake System It could be a fuse , a sensor , or some other problem As long as the red " BRAKE " light is not on in your dash you still have " normal " brakes
The wrench light illuminates when the engine has defaulted to a " limp home " mode It could be a problem with the electronic throttle control or possibly your cooling system fluid level is low . Have it looked at by a professional
No, not as long as the light stays in vacuum. No, it does not. That is where it has its maximum speed.
