check your window lock switch on the drivers door control panel. That is the case with my 1990 works when it wants to.
If you mean the extra switch on the drivers side power window control it cuts power to the passenger side window switch. Handy if you have kids.
Maybe its your driver-side window regulator that stopped working.
Check the drivers side switch panel for the switch that locks out the passenger windows from working, make sure it is not on.

2007 Saturn ion passenager window wont go down replaced motor door switch & driver side main switch
If the window won't go up from only one switch it is most likely that switch. If it won't go up from the driver controls or the control on that window's door, then you probably have a problem with the window motor.
The front passenger window will not go down on a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee if the motor or switch has failed. This is common when water gets inside the motor.
The question is: Is this the drivers window switch but it opens the passenger side's window? Who was driving or in the driver's seat. You may have spilled enough beer on the arm rest that leaked into the switch and created a corrosive electrical connection for the window motor/
Probably a weak power window motor or the window regulator is starting to act up

To fix a passenger window that won't go up on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, first check the fuse related to the power windows and replace it if necessary. If the fuse is fine, inspect the window switch for faults or debris, and consider testing the switch with a multimeter. If the switch works, the issue might be with the window motor or wiring; you may need to remove the door panel to access and troubleshoot these components. If you're not comfortable with DIY repairs, consulting a professional mechanic is recommended.
