For a 2000 Ford Windstar the lower manifold bolts are tightened in two steps. First to 44 inch pounds and finally to 89 inch pounds. The spacer section above, and the top cover, both "plastic" are tightened in a single step to 89 inch pounds each. There is of course a sequence involved in all three cases, but that is a bit difficult to describe here.
