No. If you don't have an engine hoist you can disconnect subframe (that holds engine and tranny), set it on a dolly and lift car up and pull engine and tranny out. This is very dangerous and you should not do it if you are not mechanically inclined and you should not do it at all! You may become injured or killed.
It is easier to take the engine out the top with the transmission. You need to disconnect the trans from the axles and also disconnect everything else that will prevent the engine/trans from coming out. That includes, wires, hoses, etc. Once out, you can unbolt your trans from the engine and slide it out.
You can pull the motor or thetransmission, though the trans is easier. But if you need to ask you should probably take it to a shop.
First take battery terminals off battery. If it's an automatic you will need to drain transmission fluid by lossening trans. pan bolts.Take starter off then the lines going to trans. Remove the drive shaft and trans.mount then take out all the bolts going into motor from trans. I would put a floor jack under trans. to pull it out from under truck. I :
jeep dealer in bloomington in. said 10w30 motor oil. Depends on the year and trans. some take 80w90, some take a synthetic trans fluid, others ATF.
the manual tells you to pull the whole engine don't take off a lot of the larger pieces and all motor mounts lift the engine about 3-6 inches remove the trans out the top it wont fit through the wheel well because of the sub frame and axle without a lot of work
You take your hands and pull it out of the flippin car. derr.
Ship it to Iraq and drive on the airport road for maybe ten minutes. Call your mother first.
No but it does take some weird angles to get to all of the bolts. It should remove without removing the motor mount.
You rent or buy a hoist, undo motor mounts trans mounts etc then lift it over core support without trans or leave trans attached and roll it out the front. This is easiest way, but have to take apart front end
You have to strip the side where the trans. is. ( Wheel, hub, etc. )Pull out the axel's, and start to un-bolt the trans. If you are not equipped, then its not an easy job.
You need to get into "THe Zone" and buy the repair book for F*** trucks. LOl Best $13.00 you will spend. Don't pull the motor. Take out the transmission, front drive shaft and transfer-case. This will take you about 12 hours.
To replace the wiper motor on a 2000 Buick LeSabre, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the wiper arms by loosening the nuts at their bases, then take off the cowl cover to access the motor. Unplug the electrical connector from the wiper motor, unbolt the motor from its mount, and replace it with the new unit. Finally, reassemble the cowl, reattach the wiper arms, and reconnect the battery.
