A Jeep Wrangler has a frame.
Sure, it is mounted on the frame rail right above the left rear tire. Get some fuel line disconnect tools, remove the bolt on the retaining strap, disconnect the lines, and put the new one in, easy as pie.
No.
The wiper motor is mounted on the left inside of the windshield frame on the same bracket as the VIN. Fold down the windshield and is fully accessible.
All vehicles have a frame on which the chassis is mounted.
The jack is usually mounted on the right front fender, under the hood. If you are using a floor or bottle jack, you can use any horizontal part of the frame rails as a lift point.
it has one fuel filter on left inside frame rail under driver 1 fuel pump in tank and some models have 2 fuel pumps 1 in tank one mounted on frame rail under driver mounted near external pump
no it will not, the frame is slightly smaller in the earlier jeeps
A frame is the skeleton of a car without the mountings, were as a chasis is a mounted frame.
this frame can not be used for a 1992 jeep wrangler. the length is totally different. The frame size changes in 1997 and again in 2003. I am running into the same problem. I have a 2004 and a 1998 but the 1998 will not work. where are you located and would you be willing to sell the 2004 frame? thanks Joey 919-225-2132
