Oddly enough just went through the same issue and was easily getting nervous. Lower intake manifold, oil pan gasket both $600 repair. As it turns out this wasn't the case at all. It turn out to be the Power Steering low pressure line. The impala behind the passenger tire (out of view) has a plastic shield to help prevent snow, dirt and other road debris getting on the pulley area's (good idea) however this plate rubs against the line and over time (a pin hole) the power steering fluid looks a lot like oil (especially clean oil). Check your power steering fluid first if it is not your power steering fluid then it could be a loose bolt on the oil pan area but if that is not it then most likely lower gasket. There maybe a recall on this issue so check https://my.gm.com/web/portal/recalls
This link requires you to enter you vin but it will help provide information to what recalls are registered. It not definitive but its a start or call your local dealer about possible service bulletins.
