Yes it sure can.
I blown head gasket can cause an engine miss which one cause a rough idle.
maybe you need a new head gasket?
If the intake manifold gasket has failed then it can cause many issues. Air leaks, known as vacuum leaks, will cause an erratic idle, stalling, and fuel problems.
a bad head gasket or intake manifold gasket.
good chance you have a vacuum leak. Check the gasket under the throttle body, they are known to blow out and cause an erratic idle.
It could be multiple problems. check your coolant level, it could also be your Lower intake gasket or even a head gasket.
Mapp sensor or you might need pugs and wires.
It could lead to it indirectly, but it won't be a direct cause.
No, only a blown head gasket or cracked head will cause coolant to mix with the oil. A leaking valve cover gasket will only cause oil to leak onto the engine block externally.
I don't kknow what acura you have but on my 1990 integra gs low coolant level will cause the erratic rpm. Also the intake manifold gasket could be leaking causing an erratic rpm condition check all your sensors, mostly the throttle position sensor (on the throttle body) also check to make sure you dont have any vacuum leaks.
It could be the cause of the knock only if the gasket was bad and leaked out almost all the oil.
Thare are a number of things that could cause compression loss, Like bad valve, rings, or the head gasket.
