If the dash lights on your 1988 Chrysler LeBaron are not working, first check the dimmer switch, as it may be turned all the way down. Next, inspect the fuses related to the dashboard lighting; a blown fuse could be the culprit. If both are functioning properly, the issue might be with the bulbs themselves or a wiring problem, in which case further diagnostic work would be needed.
Order a replacement Toyota 4-runner....!!!
You could have shorted it out. I have a digital instrument cluster that has shorted out in the displays and the rest of the dash went with it. I've been looking for a replacement for 4 years and still haven't found one. Good luck.
dash lights relay
Yes. 84-89 LeBaron fuel pumps are interchangeable.
To replace the dash lights in a 1989 Oldsmobile 88 Royale, first disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the dash panel by unscrewing it and carefully prying it off. Locate the bulb sockets behind the dash, twist them counterclockwise to remove, and replace the old bulbs with new ones. Reassemble the dash panel and reconnect the battery before testing the new lights.
Your dash and tail lights share the same fuse and power feed. Check and replace the fuse first, even if it looks good, and then start to troubleshoot the wiring.

Daylight driving = bright dash lights Night driving = dimmed dash lights. This automatic dimming feature assumes that you only drive with your lights on during poor light or night conditions.
I had this happen on an 88 GMC Suburban. Took a while to find it. Turned out to be a ground wire under the dash
It goes up and down. Or not sometimes...
