In the 2002 Buick LeSabre, the Engine Control Module (ECM) is typically located in the engine compartment, mounted on the driver's side near the firewall. It is usually positioned close to the fender and may be secured with bolts or clips. For precise location and access, it's recommended to consult the vehicle's service manual or a repair guide.
The ECU is located behind the glove box upper left!
PCM Location where is the ecm or brain in a 95 buick roadmaster
I do believe on your model the ECM is located under the right hand of the instrument panel. If you really need to remove the ECM I would likely suggest a Haynes repair manual for this operation.
What you are looking for is the DLC or Data Link Connector which will require an OBD-II reader to retrieve codes from. The location of the DLC is on the driver's side under the dash.
The ECM (Engine Control Module) fuse for a 2003 Buick Rendezvous is typically located in the under-hood fuse box. To access it, open the hood and locate the fuse box on the driver's side near the battery. The specific fuse for the ECM is usually labeled in the diagram on the fuse box cover. Always refer to the owner's manual for the exact fuse location and specifications.
If its in the same location as my 96 Bonneville, It would be on the throttle body :) Almost Right below the ECM and above you're Thermostat, If you now how to rev you're car from under the hood by pulling the cable, its connected to that. :)
Either the throttle plate is sticking or the idle air control is not responding to ecm signal.
Yes the ecm( engine control module)/ pcm( powertrain control module) are the same thing. Different manufacturers use different acronyms, ECU (engine control unit) is another often used.
The PCM (or ECM) is located on the interior of the car on the passenger side. To access the PCM/ECM remove the kick panel just beneath the glove box and it is right there. Disconnect the three electrical harnesses and and sucuritity clip and it's out.
Do you mean PCM? if so it is inside the air filter box on the bottom.
