How do you disable the DRLs on a 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor?
there's a fuse in the fusebox I have a 1997 gmc and that worked for me
engage the parking brake , or shut the engine off
On my 2005 just turn the light switch all the way clockwise when looking at the end of the lever on the stock( the left hand lever).
I have no running lights on my 2006 Peterbilt 387 all of the lights work
If You want them off and you have auto lights turn off the auto to OFF. But i would keep it on Auto because it is so much eayser to see during the day. Also if you have fog lights i would turn those on. They help alot at night.
2004 Ford E-250 Van (also reported to work on 2006 E-250)Loosen this shroud by removing the 4 clips shown.photo Pop the air inlet tube out of the shroud, rotate it up and out of the way.photo Lift the shroud up. Behind it you will see the Daytime Running Light module. Unplug the gray connector.photo Tape up the connectors to keep water out.photo Put everything back together. This completely disables the Daytime Running Lights. The headlights still work manually and I have no other problems after doing this
rear lights and dash lights should be on the same fuse, check your owners manual if you have it.
To the best of my knowledge all Highlanders are equipped with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). In Canada they are required by law to be equipped with them HOWEVER - there is no indication what country you are writing from or what level of "trim" your Highlander is, and your particular model may not be, for one reason or another. Check your Owner's Manual if you still have it, or simply call your local Toyota dealer.
2006 Chevrolet Suburban daytime running light (DRL) bulb replacement: Purchase the correct replacement daytime running light (DRL) bulb(s) first, before disassembling the vehicle. See sources and related links below for replacement bulb information. Then consult your owner's manual for the daytime running light (DRL) bulb replacement procedure. As simple as it sounds, the owner's manual is the best place to start for bulb replacement instructions and illustrations. You may want to consider replacing both left and right at the same time in order to keep brightness and color equal (optional).
