For a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue, it's recommended to use a power steering fluid that meets the specifications of GM's Dexron III or Dexron VI. Brands such as ACDelco, Valvoline, or Prestone offer suitable options for this application. Always check the owner's manual for any specific recommendations or requirements related to fluid type.

The power steering pump is held on by 2 bolts which are accessed through holes in the pulley. The bolts are on the top and bottom of the power steering pump. You will need to use and socket extension or deep socket.
