Nope, the Ram 50 was a compact pickup import from Mitsubishi, with a Mitsubishi engine and tranie, so a domestic 318 made to fit full-sized Dodge Trucks and the dakota/other big cars, won't fit onto a compact pickup tranie. Impossible.
NoNo
any 4 speed tranny from a 340 engine will bolt to a 273, 318, or 360 engine as they are all the same engine block.
a-833 overdrive four speed. dodge started making them in 1975. it will bolt up to a 318 provided you have the correct bellhousing for the 318 as the ;leaning tower of power' bellhousing wont fit.
the bolt patterns on the 318 and a 360 are the same. so as long as you can "fit" the transmission behind it, in essence, yes. but do your dimensional analysis either way. and consider the t-case and driveline.
no
It will bolt up, but it will not shift. The 1995 is hydraulic controlled. The 1997 is electronically controlled.
518
A 1988 Dodge van would have throttle body fuel injection.
No
probably not.
no heads and intake are different form a 360 to a 318
If they are automatics, they will bolt up but they will not shift. They use different types of governors. The 1995 is mechanical, while the 1997 is electronic. If they are automatics, they will bolt up but they will not shift. They use different types of governors.
