I could be completely wrong, but I think they share the same sensor. If there's two sensors for the coolant, one usually goes to a gauge and the other is used by the computer, which in turn controls the fan activation and speed.
The engine coolant temperature sensor and coolant temperature sensor are the same.
Not sure if this helps, but the book I have on my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee says that their are 2 of these sensors, I have not had the time to look for the second one. I have the same problem.
Your anti freeze collant level sensor if the same as a Chevy impala is mounted under the transmission cooling line on the radiator
The coolant fan sensor is the same as the sensor that shows the coolant temperature on the dash gauge. It is located on the intake manifold.
There is none on this model,i have the same car, went to the dealer and they told me there was none.
On a mid 90s, it is located in the plastic coolant bottle. I'm quessing that yours is in the same place.Mine is a 1992 3.1L and it has the sensor located on the passenger side of the radiator about three inches below the radiator cap.Answer3 inches below the radiator cap on the passenger side.
Yes, but it is not recommended to run straight water in the cooling system.
Might be the sensor, each fan has its own relay
Two sensors in the same part, yes.
The Air Temperature sensor is in the same unit as the Air Flow Meter on top of the stock air box. The coolant temp sensor is mounted on the coolant outlet on the back of the engine, center, just above the transmission.
"Neither. Most likely for knock sensor. check other side in same location. There will most likely be a round sensor threaded into the block. no oil or coolant present.
