Have a mechanic test the fuel sensor circuit. Likely the sensor has gone bad and will require replacement.

sounds like you have a bad ground wire on frame by the fuel tank. small black wire coming from the fuel tank and screwed to the frame.

To fix the temp gauge check the temp sending unit first. A bad sending unit is a common problem with the temp system.

The gauge cluster is electronic and the speedo is controlled by a small stepper motor that is a very common failure.
