I just replaced the drivers side outside mirror (glass only) on a 2001 Buick park avenue ultra,I grabbed the glass on both side of the mirror and popped it straight back .there were three wire connectors that I carefully unplugged,I plugged the connectors onto the new glass, and lined up the clips in the center of the back of the new glass and popped the glass back in place.It took about 15 minutes. good luck
