To change the radiator in a 1999 Buick Park Avenue, first disconnect the negative battery cable and drain the coolant by removing the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator. Next, remove the upper and lower radiator hoses, along with any mounting brackets or bolts securing the radiator in place. Carefully lift out the old radiator and replace it with the new one, reconnecting the hoses and any brackets. Finally, refill the cooling system with coolant and reconnect the battery.

The radiator drain plug on a 2001 Buick Park Avenue is located at the bottom of the radiator, typically on the driver's side. It may be a small plastic or metal screw that you can turn counterclockwise to drain the coolant. Make sure to have a container underneath to catch the fluid and allow the engine to cool before attempting to drain the radiator.
