Google for the nearest "Jiffy Lube". Drive the Toyota over there and for about $19.95, cash, check or credit card and 15 minutes its over and you will not even have to hassle getting rid of 4 or 5 quarts of used motor oil.

Or you can put a quality oil in your car and make sure its done right by doing it yourself... Remember, Places like jiffy lube are always looking to have a high turnover and that means changing your oil as fast as they can. Also they are there to make as much money as possible and will put the cheapest oil they have in your car to make more profit.

An oil change on a 2000 celica is fairly easy... I've been doing mine since I was 16.

1st... the entire underneath of the car is covered in plastic panels. After you raise the front of your car, preferably on small ramps, locate the small center front plastic panel that is in a slightly off rectangular shape... It is about 2 feet long and 1 foot wide give or take. It will be connected with plastic snaps that you can easily pop off with a flat head screw driver. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THESE SNAPS! there may also be two 10mm screws that are holding on the plastic over as well.

2nd... After you've removed the cover, the next few parts are easy. Now revealed is the oil filter, the oil pan and the oil plug. The oil plug is a 14mm bolt and washer and should be the lowest part that you can see coming out of the middle of the bottom of the oil pan. It will be golden in color if it is not dirty.

3rd... Place a bucket underneath the plug and loosen the oil plug about 1/2-1 turns, just enough so you can begin to unscrew it by hand. While unscrewing apply pressure towards the bolt so oil does not leak until you pull it away.

4th... The oil filter must be taken off with a particular tool or socket which you can find pretty cheep at any hardware store. remove the oil filter. this part will be a little messy, just be as careful as possible. let both the oil pan and oil filter socket drain and open the top to not create a vacuum.

5th... once the oil has stopped draining, clean off the plug and replace it. Do not over tighten. then clean the oil filter area with a clean rag and prepare your new oil filter by lubricating the rubber seal with a dab of new oil on your finger. Replace new oil filter. ONLY HAND TIGHTEN THE OIL FILTER.

6th... The car takes about 4 quarts of oil. I use 5w-30 synthetic Place in new oil, close top, start car and inspect for leaks! and you're done! Clean up!

The previous answer is a bit of a pain to do, and I truly like the "Jiffylube" answer the best but what I do is a bit of both-buy some good synthetic at say, Walmart and THEN go to Jiffylube and ask for an oil change but have them use YOUR oil-they're also warranteed/insured for the work they do-so if they screw up somehow, you have recourse. If you do it, and screw up, well you can only be mad at yourself.
