It sounds like you want to know how to change the engine in a 1970 Chevy truck from a small block to a big block.
If that is the case; there is no difference in the mounting of the engine to the transmission or motor mounts.
The exhaust system will need to be changed, and the small block radiator might not be big enough to handle the extra heat made by a big block when it's being worked. (such as on a hot day or pulling a heavy load)
Yes.
A small block. It is the first motor squared, by Chevy, meaning it has a 4 inch bore, and 4 inch stroke.
NO. Not even close.
The 400 Chevy small block motor should have approximately 390 horse power. It should have 427 foot pounds of torque.
ANY year that has a carburetor intake manifold available to install on the block/heads.
no
When the center exhaust valves are side by side (siamese), it's a small block (EIIEEIIE). Big blocks are symmetrical (EIEIEIEI).
Everything is different in that motor.
LT 1.Rated at 275HP."Second generation" of the Chevy small block.
It is a small block
They made a few versions of it. I would have to know which motor you have.
They actually made several different versions of that motor...
