The P1861 code for a Chrysler Pacifica typically indicates an issue with the Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor or its circuit. To fix it, first inspect the wiring and connectors for damage or corrosion. If they appear fine, you may need to replace the TFT sensor itself. After any repairs, clear the code using an OBD-II scanner and monitor for reoccurrence.
A P1861 code on a 2004 Pacifica indicates a problem with the Transmission Control Module (TCM) or the torque converter clutch (TCC) system. To fix it, start by checking the TCM connections and wiring for damage or corrosion. If the connections are fine, inspect the TCC solenoid and fluid levels, as low transmission fluid can cause issues. If these components are functioning properly, you may need to replace the TCM or have it reprogrammed.
You have to repair the cause of the code that put it in limp mode.
Code P0660 on a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica indicates a problem with the intake manifold heater control circuit. To fix this issue, first, inspect the intake manifold heater relay and associated wiring for damage or corrosion. If the relay is functional, check the intake manifold heater element for continuity and replace it if necessary. Finally, clear the code and test drive the vehicle to ensure the issue is resolved.
I have experienced cradle rot on my 2004 Pacifica. Chrysler refuses to fix, says it was caused by the environment;nonsense! It's time to start a class action suit
It will depend on how long it takes, and the labor rates of the shop.
You can not disable it. You have to fix whatever is causing it to go off.
Start by looking over the mechanism for the Pacifica parking brake. Make sure that the parts operate freely and the ratchet is working. If the unit is not simply stuck, then it will have to be replaced as a whole assembly.
I'm not sure how old this question is but the answer is "Yes". I had lost cruise control on my 06 Pacifica and I found the cause was a broken vacuum line. Simple fix.
The first thing to do is identify where the water is coming from. When that is ascertained you can better find a solution to the problem. It may be a poor seal or condensation. Find out first then apply a solution
P0720 Output Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
You first need to have it checked for codes, you then fix the cause of the code, you can then clear the code with a scan tool.
I'm having the same problem and from what I understand we are not the only ones. There is a problem with the ABS sensor in the wheels and it is a widespread issue with most Pacifica owners. If you fix this problem, you still may have issues with the other side. Repair cost ranges from $350 to $500. Good luck.
