To remove the steering wheel from a 1977 Dodge D-100, first disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Use a steering wheel puller tool to help remove the wheel; you'll need to remove the center cap and the nut holding the steering wheel in place. Once the nut is off, attach the puller to the steering wheel and tighten it to pull the wheel off the shaft. Finally, gently wiggle the wheel if needed, but avoid using excessive force to prevent damage.
