If you are saying that you locked the keys in the trunk and you haven't got a spare set here are some ideas: 1. If your car has a trunk popper, hot wire the button then push it. 2. Have a locksmith "pick" the lock and open the trunk. 3. Take out the back seat and back rest. Pull out the panel behind the back rest. Reach through the opening and retrieve the keys. Many years ago my father locked the car with the key in the ignition and the motor running. He got really lucky. The first person to pass by tried his key in the door lock and it worked. That might not happen very often. But I suppose you could also try for that.
Why yes I have done that Can you get the other set of keys? Sometimes you can just have another key made from the code on the matching lock- in this case the glovebox or console lid. Any locksmith can do this readily if you are unable to master the mysteries of extracting the glovebox lock cylinder- there is a secret tang to depress which releases the lock cylinder. Or you can sometimes unscrew the bezel that holds it together. Or, find the other set of keys. Press the remote trunk unlock button in the glovebox if you have that feature. Worst case, the back seat can be removed and the lock accessed from there.
It appears that you turned the lock counterclockwise instead of clockwise . If the lock is set in the horizontal alignment, it is probably set for valet or parking theft protection. Using the master key-not the valet key-try to jiggle the master key in the lock turning it clockwise. Keep trying, perhaps some graphite dust might help lube the key chamber. The trunk lid opener lever next to the driver seat will not work in the horizontal key lock mode to prevent thief by valets or by vandals when street parking. Keep trying, but do not force, it will eventually move to the right-clockwise. Your factory car manual will explain more in detail.
