Where is the speedometer cable on a 1994 pickup 4x4?

The exact location of the speedometer cable is dependent upon the make and model of your 1994 pickup truck. In general, the speedometer cable goes from the speedometer to the speed sensor.

How do you get to the speedometer cable of a 1990 Toyota 4x4 pickup truck?

There are two types of speed sensors and you can't tell until you look. One is electrical/magnetic (VSS) and one is a cable that goes directly into the instrument cluster. Here is my answer to How to replace the Speedometer Cable in a 1990 Toyota 4x4 Pickup 3.0 3VZE V6. To remove the cable you will need to unhook the e-brake assembly and seperate the speedometer cable from the e-brake at the firewall by the gas pedal. On end goes to rear of the instrument cluster and the other end attaches to a small gear at the rear of the transmission. The instrument cluster will need to be removed.

What could cause a grinding noise in a 1990 Dodge truck that seems related to the speedometer?

If the grinding sound seems to be coming from the speedometer and grinds faster as your speed increases, the likely cause is the speedometer cable. At least some 1990 Dodge trucks (mine) have electric speedometers Len

Why would the speedometer and odometer stop working in a 2000 1500 Dodge pickup truck?

If the abs light is on, then you might have a rear axle speed sensor issue. If not, then you have a cluster problem.

Will a speedometer cluster from a 1991 freightliner fld120 interchange with a 1994 freightliner fld120 classic speedometer cluster?

The Classic was the FLD132, and no. For one, the speedometer is set according to the gear ratio, tire size, and rear end gear ratio of the truck, and if those vary, the speed won't be accurate.
