Spring goes toward engine block. Install the gasket and tighten to factory specs. Usually 20 lb/ft torque.

Follow the top radiator hose down to the water outlet on the engine. It is in the outlet.

START WITH A THE BASICS IS THERE ANIT FREEZE IN IT ? IF THERE IS ,, FLUSH THE RAD AND INSTALL A NEW THERMOSTAT AND NEW FLUID IF THERE IS NOT.. DO A PREASURE TEST TO SEE WHERE THE LEAK MAY BE ..IT COULD BE A BLOWN HEAD GASKET .
Yes! Be sure the side of the thermostat with the spring showing faces into the engine.
