If necessary, turn the ignition switch ON and the wipers ON then OFF to bring them to the park position. Hold the wiper arm against the torque and loosen the nut which attaches the arm to the linkage shaft with a socketwrench ,remove the nut. Remove the arm and line it up with the lower end of the windshield then put it on the spines till they engage Install the nut. Then do the other wiper the same. Test to see they are working ok.
