To open the hood on a 2007 Jeep Compass, first, locate the hood release lever inside the vehicle, which is typically found on the driver's side, near the footwell. Pull the lever to release the hood latch. Then, go to the front of the vehicle, slide your hand under the hood, and feel for the secondary latch, which you need to lift or push to fully open the hood. Finally, prop the hood open with the support rod, if applicable.

Opening a sun roof on a jeep is easy. All you have to do is unlatch the roof from the jeep and push the open button.

To change a headlight on a 2007 Jeep Commander, first, open the hood and locate the back of the headlight assembly. Disconnect the power connector by pressing the tab and pulling it straight out. Both washers use the same reservoir under the hood. You open the hood and pour it in.
