The Body Control Module (BCM) on a 2001 Chevy 3500 manages various electrical functions within the vehicle, including interior lighting, power windows, and door locks. It also oversees systems like the anti-theft system and the operation of the windshield wipers. The BCM communicates with other modules in the vehicle to ensure the proper functioning of these systems, enhancing overall vehicle performance and convenience.
