Im sure you have to pull the dash out and it should be right there in front of you in the passenger side seat. Just take a few bolts out after that holding a plastic cover on in front of it. I just replaced one on my 95 sure it should be the same. be ready for a job.
yes, you even have to remove some a/c components wich requires draining you freon unfortunately
