To repair a non-functioning odometer in a 1998 Buick Regal GS, first check the fuse related to the instrument cluster, as a blown fuse can cause the odometer to not light up. If the fuse is intact, inspect the wiring connections behind the instrument cluster for any loose or damaged wires. If those are fine, you may need to remove the instrument cluster to check for faulty bulbs or a malfunctioning odometer gear. If necessary, consider replacing the entire cluster or seeking professional help for more complex issues.
