To remove the front grill on a Jeep Cherokee, first, open the hood and locate the screws or clips securing the grill to the body. Typically, you’ll need to remove a few plastic push clips or bolts, which may require a flathead screwdriver or a socket wrench. Once the fasteners are removed, gently pull the grill away from the vehicle, being careful not to damage any clips or wiring. Finally, disconnect any wiring harnesses if applicable, and the grill should come off easily.
First remove the bumper cover. You need to take off the front grill to get at the plastic retainers that hold the top of the buimber on. There are about four retainers on the bootom of the bumper.
