To change the front side light on a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee, first, open the hood and locate the headlight assembly. Remove the screws or clips securing the assembly, then carefully pull it out. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb, twist the old bulb counterclockwise to remove it, and replace it with a new one. I have a jeep Cherokee of that year and I believe that what you are refering to is a spherical thermometer and horn assembly.
I assume you are referring to the entire motor assembly and not just the mast assembly. I replaced the power antenna unit on a 1992 Cherokee, albeit the original, smaller model, not the larger "Grand Cherokee", so I'm not sure if my experience is entirely accurate for a Grand Cherokee (though I suspect it is the same). The only way to get the power antenna unit out is to remove the right front fender. While this is a bit of a messy job and requires a special type of star socket it is not all that difficult.

Once exposed, disconnect the window motor and remove the window regulator assembly. Inspect the cable for fraying or breaks, and if needed, replace it with a new cable or regulator assembly. Reassemble the door panel and test the window to ensure it functions properly.
