Jack up the rear of the car so that the tires are barely touching the ground.

Place jack stands under the frame. remove jack.

Disconnect ebrake, brake lines, driveshaft, shocks, lower and upper control arms. Might take a little force to get springs out of seats.

Axle is now separate from vehicle.
