there is 2 screws under the arm rest then there is 2 screws on either side of the door handle. after that take a flat head screw driver and walk your way around the outside of the door skin. there is 7 or 8 clips you have to pop. then slide the door skin around so you have access to the wiring. unhook them and your set.
Per Haynes Repair Manual #36071, 1993-2005 Ford Ranger Pick-ups: On 1998 and later models, the interior door handle is secured by a single rivet that must be drilled out for handle removal. A rivet gun is necesssary to replace the drilled out rivet and to secure the handle in its original position. It is necessary to remove the door trim panel and watersheild for access.
the fuel filter on a 1986 ford ranger is located on the inside of the frame on the drivers side in front of the gas tank.
My 87 Ranger 4x4 has factory 15"x6" with 205-75-15. Its printed on the inside of the drivers door.
Located on inside left frame rail by fuel filter almost under drivers seat.
You would need to pry the door panel off and then play with the door lock and handle rods from the inside.
inside the gastank is a low pressure pump underneath the drivers floor board attached to the inside of frame is a highpressure pump

The fuel pump on a '93 ford ranger is located inside the fuel tank. It is eaisest to remove the bed of the truck to access the fuel pump. Access is on the top of the tank behind the cab of the truck. I prefer this to dropping the tank.
