The Ford Contour was produced from the years 1995 to 2000. The front pump transmission seal in a 1998 Ford Contour is located very close to the camshaft.
Remove wheel Remove caliper mounting bolts Slide caliper off rotor Rotor should slide off hub
remove the valve cover, remove timing belt , lossing all caps that hold camshaft, then remove the caps, lift out the shaft.
In a 2000 Daewoo Lanos, the camshaft position sensor is typically located near the front of the engine, often near the timing cover. It is positioned close to the camshaft or cylinder head to accurately detect the position of the camshaft. To access it, you may need to remove some engine covers or components depending on the specific engine configuration. Always consult a repair manual for detailed instructions specific to your vehicle.
I have a 2000 Contour and there was a 19mm stud between the armrest and seat. It is hard to see and get the wrench on.
It's a 7
camshaft sensor is under power steering pump. remove steering pump, then set aside do not remove hoses. sensor is down, remove one bolt that holds sensor in, then pull up on sensor to remove.
Probably easiest to pull the driveaxel and take the alternator out that way
Last year my mechanic changed my broken camshaft in a 3.3 l flex fuel engine in my 2000 Grand Caravan. It was necessary to jack up the van and drop the engine far enough to pull the camshaft out the passenger side. There were quite a few parts to remove to do that.

On a 2000 Infiniti QX4 with a 3.3L engine, the camshaft position sensor is located on the front of the engine, near the timing cover. Specifically, it is positioned on the passenger side, above the timing belt area. To access it, you may need to remove some components, such as the air intake duct, for better visibility and access.
It is under the front of the passenger side cylinder head.
