I dont think you remove the nut in the center of the hub, your rotor is more than likely just rusted on to the hub.

Do you mean rotor? If so, remove the distributor cap and remove the old rotor and install the new one. Simple repair.
Remove the tire and wheel from your 1993 Lincoln Town car . Remove the brake spring and break caliper. Remove the brake rotor by tapping on it with a hammer or mallet. Slide the rotor off. Reverse the process to install the new rotor and brake pads.

Remove the tire and wheel from your 1993 Chevy Lumina. Remove the brake assembly spring and the brake caliper. The brake assembly will come off. Tap on the rotor with a hammer or mallet. The rotor will slide off. Reverse the process to change the new rotor and brakes.

Remove the wheel and brake calipers. Be careful not to let the caliper hang by the brake line. Use a hanger to hold it up and out of the way.On the rotors the are screws close to the center of the rotor, remove these screws and the rotor just slides off. The screws can be tough, dont strip the heads, use the appropiate size screw driver and tap a few times with a hammer, that may help loosen it. I didnt put the screws back in after replacing the rotor, I believe that is a optional choice.
In the distributor,you need to remove the dist cap & then remove the rotor and it will be mounted to the distributor housing

I have the same problem can't seem to pull in the retaining ring far enough to remove hub and rotor don't know if I'm doing it right. Will update if I get it off.
Remove wheels Remove 2 caliper mounting bolts (if so equipped) Slide caliper off rotor and support Remove center hub (probably spring loaded) Slide gear out Remove spanner nut and spacers Wiggle rotor outer bearings should fall out Pull rotor off and inner bearing will come out with it
Remove brake caliper, then caliper mounting. Now tap back of rotor to remove it. Now undo large nut holding hub and pull hub off. Replace in reverse order.
