i dont know but once on a Jeep str6 i used a spark plug socket ground alittle shorter with a hand wrench to turn the end of the socket no rachet,and the tip of the plug went through the socket end for clearence of the manifold
tell you what....if you know anyone that will put your blazer up on a hoist.... you can change the plugs very easily and alot quicker! been there done it , got the teeshirt
It is inside of the engine oil pan. You will have to remove the oil pan to get to it.
you would need to change the cylinder heads also.See link below
under the plastic cover that says vortec there is a huge aluminum cover called a planum disconnect the hoses to that remove the throttle cable unscrew 5 bolts i think it is remove the planum under that is what u be looking for

Begin by removing the engine wiring harnesses. Remove the motor mount retaining bolts. Disconnect the engine from the transmission. Lift the engine out.
On my 93 it is right after the pipes meet from the left and right heads, it is pointed up toward the floorboard. Warm the pipe up a little to make it easier to remove by running the engine for a couple of minutes prior to removing the sensor.
The knock 1 sensor on a Vortec 4.8 is located on the top of the engine. You will have to remove the intake to gain access to replace it.
