No access plate, You must remove the gas tank, When you remove the sending unit the pump will be on the bottom of it. Just remove the old unit and install the new one in the same way. BE CAREFUL NOT TO ALLOW DIRT TO ENTER THE TANK. I would advise to replace the pump, filter, ansd pickup sock.
The car is fuel injected and the pump is in top part of the tank. The tank has to be removed, not difficult though. Just jack up the rear and make sure the front isn't going to roll away on you.

The fuel pump is located in the gas tank. Drop the tank and disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pump top plate. Use a screwdriver (or other flat blade) and a hammer to knock the retaining ring around. Lift the entire assembly out and the fuel pump will be attached to the assembly. Remember that when you replace the pump, you should also replace the screen (sometimes called a sock).
