It is as simple as removong 2 bolts and replacing the mount. Goodluck, JOe
To replace a motor mount on a 1995 Chevy S-10 4-cylinder 2.2L, the engine will need to be hoisted up out of the vehicle until the new motor mount is welded in, if the mount is rusted out. Then lower the engine, keeping it on the hoist until both motor mounts are secured. Then, it will be necessary to hook up all other parts to the motor, like the transmission. If the motor mount is only missing the bolt, then replace the bolt with a new one.
the main motor mount, the one I am looking for, goes on top of the engine at the pooley side
Usualy the tensioner or idler pulley is spring loaded and can be pulled backwards allowing enough slack for the belt to slip on easily On a 1992-1996 Beretta/Corsica, the upper engine mount needs to be removed in order to remove/replace the serpentine belt. Replace the belt, and reinstall the engine mount.
Put the new motor mount bushing into the appropriate place. Put the motor mount retaining bolt in. Let the engine down from the jack. Tighten the motor mount bolt.
Loosen the motor mount retaining bolt. Jack the motor up a few inches. Remove the motor mount retaining bolt and the motor mount bushing. Reverse the process to install the new motor mount.
You don't "fix" a motor mount, You replace them. You may be able to use a bottle jack to lift the side enough to remove and replace the mount. Good Luck and Remember.Change Your Mind, Not Your Oil.Use the First In Synthetic Motor Oil's.See My Bio For more information.

It is best to change one motor mounts one at a time. Loosen the motor mount retaining bolt. Jack the engine up a few inches. Remove the motor mount retaining bolt and the motor mount bushing. Put the new bushing in and reverse the process.
Remove the old mount & replace with the new.
There is no fixing a broken motor mount. Replace them with a new ones.
