PartialI am currently working on this problem myself. My key will no longer turn past the Acc. place, and it is very hard to turn. I have taken out the screws from underneath the steering column, and popped the bottom half of the plastic housing off. There are retaining "clips" that need to be released in order to remove the bottom half of the housing. You'll be able to spot them where the two pieces of the hosing are still tighly attached. Take a flathead screwdriver and gently pry the top part off. You'll want to pry outwards on the top section, so that the top half moves outwards from the bottom half. Then remove the metal ring that rests in the lower plastic half, around the ignition switch; it should pull out with a pinger or a gentle pry with a screwdriver. Using a small Phillips screwdriver, you can remove the orange light on the housing. Now you can see where the ignition is attached to the steering column, and also how to remove it. I have not been able to remove the top half of the housing to access the clamp nuts on the switch, that is the next step.

Yeah, were kind of having the same problem, except that ours is completely broke to the point where we have to use a screwdriver to turn the ignition on and off. So what we want to do is replace the whole ignition completely, and do not know exactly how to do that? So if anyone has any information on how to do this, please let us know, please and thanks you!
